Project Goals
Hoping to find out it own positioning through the difference between service and experience design and improve the use experience of gay dating app.
PROBLEM STATEMENT
The existing gay dating apps often fall into the situation of unclear dating purposes, so we should consider how to make the two purposes of one-night stand and finding stable dating better.

Consider the goals of the three stakeholders (vendor, product owner, and user) in the app and create a design that meets their needs at the same time.

More concerned about the needs of two different situations, to provide intimate interface design, so that users feel tailored to his feelings.

Through the UX design approach, think about the user's use situation and distinguish the use purpose to provide a better use experience
Day Mode
Daylight home page
The daylight mode takes looking for stable partners as the starting point, so it displays one dating profile at a time, guides the users to view the text content by using the motivation of the users to see the photos, and reveals some personal information such as interests and preferences to arouse resonance between the two parties, thus increasing the success rate of matching.
Actionable Gamification
Gamified interface design creates feedback and interactivity, and increases the sense of accomplishment. For example, if you log in every day, you can get points, and you can use points to use the VIP payment function in the app.
Human centered gaming experience, stick to the users in the app to use, from the experience of VIP functions, in turn, to establish the habit of users operating apps, lead to purchase VIP functions.
Organic Advertising
In the dating home page and post articles places, hidden advertising provides natural exposure during use and increases the good use experience and the conversion rate of advertising.
When points are not enough, we provide a mechanism to get points for viewing ads, so that users can get points and increase advertising exposure.
Message
The message box during the day contains the matches and the chat, and the filter can be used to display the various status messages independently. Intuitively switches between different mailboxes in the inbox, and creates groups in the nighttime mailbox.
Night Mode
Night home page
In night mode, you can see the people nearby who want to hook up. UI design makes the personal information clearer in the thumbnail preview. The back button in the dating profile is designed to float, increasing the efficiency of use.
Send messages to multiple people
The purpose of night mode is to quickly relieve the physiological needs. This function can send text to multiple hot guys at one time, greatly shortening the matching time.
The Filter
The filter function can be used in both modes. Users can experience the filtering mechanism under two conditions without paying.
By increasing their favorable impression on the APP after the experience, users want to buy and use the full version functions.
Learnings
For this design project, I completed the design alone and production of the minimum MVP prototype process of UX design Wireframe within a very short period of 7 days, which was the first time I made a prototype. In the process, I made good time planning and found that I could learn new things and solve things in a very short period of time.
